“2019 Business of Design Week” Event Cancellation
In view of the current situation in the city, Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) announced today the cancellation of this year’s Business of Design Week (BODW) Summit (2-7 December 2019).
We would like to sincerely apologise to our attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners and supporters for the inconvenience caused. At the same time, we would like to thank everyone for their effort and support.

Duncan Pescod is Chief Executive Officer of WKCDA, a role he has held since August 2015. He has overall responsibility for the Authority’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations, working with a strong team to deliver the visionary WKCD project. He first joined the Authority as Chief Operating Officer in October 2014.
Pescod served for over 32 years with the Hong Kong Government, during which he worked in various branches, bureaux and departments. He was Special Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs to the European Communities from 2006 to 2008, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Technology) from 2008 to 2010, and Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Housing) and Director of Housing from 2010 to 2014. He was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2014 and appointed a Justice of the Peace in the same year. Pescod is married with three children and four grandchildren.
