Patrik Schumacher is principal of Zaha Hadid Architects. Co-author of all the firm’s projects, Schumacher has led the practice since Zaha Hadid’s passing. He founded the Design Research Laboratory at the Architectural Association in London and held the John Portman Chair in Architecture at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. Schumacher coined the phrase Parametricism in 2008 and publishes manifestos promoting this work as the epochal style of the 21st century.

Liquid Glacial Table

The Liquid Glacial table by Zaha Hadid Design for David Gill Gallery incorporates gentle waves and ripples milled within the transparent acrylic beneath the flat surface of its table-top, creating depth and complexity through infinite refractions; while its legs ‘pour’ from the horizontal in a structural vortex.

UltraStellar

The UltraStellar collection continues the journey that Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher began with David Gill Gallery in 2007. Encompassing new pieces and several that extend existing collections and ideas, the main body of the collection includes pieces in walnut, silver, glass and leather.
