In view of the current situation in the city, Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) announced today the cancellation of this year’s Business of Design Week (BODW) Summit (2-7 December 2019).
We would like to sincerely apologise to our attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners and supporters for the inconvenience caused. At the same time, we would like to thank everyone for their effort and support.

Chris Dobson is a brand strategist and experience design consultant. His passion is design that helps people and culture move forward. By combining architecture and content smartly, he believes brands have the power to facilitate this progress.
As Principal, Chris leads the Eight Inc. Hong Kong studio and develops our business across China’s Greater Bay Area. His insight, strategy and experience design expertise is a valuable resource that our regional studios draw on to enrich their work.
Chris was previously Managing Director at experience agency Imagination, where he helped set-up and establish the company in Asia. He founded The Labs – an experience design consultancy – for global creative network Project Worldwide, and is the current Vice President of the Retail Design Institute (Hong Kong Chapter).
